I don't know. They celebrate it in India on the first Sunday of August, every year. Well, I'm, as I mentioned earlier, not very much into such specific days, eg. Father's, Mother's, Birth. But then, still, I could always wish people.

Friendship Day celebrations take place on the first Sunday of August every year. The tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends began in US in 1935...
