Fin (A Shakespeare Sonnet that i wrote)

[End Of All]

Fin

It was the longest and the darkest night

And all was silent in the lonely streets

And the dense fog did away with all the light

The outdoors was a tomb where none dared meet .

It seemed as though the world had stopped turning

As if there was nothing worth waiting for

And in the distance, the world was burning

Fueled by hatred for man's own neighbor.

The world is ablaze with one endless fight

When all people turn against each other

You notice how alone you are at night

And we find ourselves killing our brother.

Friendships are broken, betrayals begin

And all that I can say to this is fin.

The Fall of the Angels

It was a time
Of great importance
And greater sadness.

The world was at war
Brother vs. brother
Sister vs. sister

And we, the angels
Far above in the heavens
Could do nothing but watch.

The betrayals tore deep into our souls
As all that we ever knew and loved
Was slowly destroyed by those we once loved.

It was the end of everything
And we, the angels
Were falling

Falling down to the Earth
Returning to the world of the living
As the living ceased to exist.
