New Gaming Laptop!!! YAY!!!

I've been dying to play Skyrim for some time now, but my PC wasn't good enough to play it. I was going to build a new PC, but my netbook crapped out on me, so I decided just to go with a gaming laptop.

I ended up with the ASUS G55VW-ES71 for $1299. I should be getting it on Friday and I'm so EXCITED!!! It's a little heavy (over 8 lbs), however it's got a super cooling system on it which makes up for the weight.

I've been wanting a gaming computer for a while now because you just can't play games on regular computers anymore. I was toying with the idea of building a computer because it would be a great learning experience, but in the end, I don't really want that headache lol. Only things going against me are:

A) The price tag is a bit out of my budget right now and..
B) I don't have broadband at home, so I can't play online games. grrrrrrrr.

Lucky for me my employer has a PC purchase program with no interest loans. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford it.

I don't play online, so I'm not so worried about that. I have DSL right now and it's terrible, but I refuse to deal with Time Warner Cable so I live with having a terrible internet connection.

So it runs Skyrim on the ultra high setting with no problem at all. Loading time is super fast and not once did it lag. I'm in heaven.
