Trying to find purpose.

I have lurked around here for a couple of days. I actually came across this site by typing "general chat forums" in Google. If I remember correctly it was 3rd on the list after the stupid advertisements, anyway; What I guess my question is: What goes on in here? I get the feeling it's a forum about whatever and nothing at the same time. General sub forums with whatever you want to chat about, is this correct? I don't really belong to any sites like this; I do visit plenty of sites and join in discussions, but nothing quite like this.

Just doing a little browsing and not really sure if I should join, and if I did what purpose I would serve here.

This forum isn't dedicated to a specific topic (hence the "general chat forums"); however, that doesn't mean there is a lack of content to contribute and discussions to join in.

When you were born, did you immediately know your purpose? Odds are, probably not. Stick it out; you might like it. You might not. No one forces you to join or stay.
