    Default Cleaning the blinds

We have 2" blinds on all the windows of our house. They collect dust to the point they look furry. I have cleaned then in the past with a paintbrush but it has been cool and staticky here. The dust was going right back on the blinds. I mentioned to my wife about vacuuming them. She said our vacuum doesn't do a good job and the hose is so short it can't reach the top. I got my shopvac and had to get creative to get the brush end to fit because the hose size was different. I did get it done but it took over an hour and a half to clean 12 sets.

take them down, hang them on your line in the backgarden and spray them down with a hose. That's what I do. Works great, fun and quick.

I have tried the waterhose. Doesn't seem to get the dust off without scrubbing and wiping with a cloth.

Cleaning blinds is the worst. There are some gadgets out there like the one mentioned earlier but I don't know how well they work.

If you are looking for a quick solution try soaking them in the bathtub and then hanging them out to dry. I have done that in the past and it has worked well.
