I saw a night take off about 20 years ago from not too far away. just off the water about 3 miles south of the launch pad
That was probably the most impressive thing I have ever witnessed.
Not just the visual but the sound. The earth shook like crazy
Gotcha to my Lilypad
That's awesomemost of the time in planes I'm too busy sleeping to look out the windows
it'd be incredible to see something like this.
fantastic
wow....way way cool...
Glad y'all enjoyed itIt was a beautiful day for a flight.
I've never been to the Cape for a shuttle launch.
I did go for the Moon landing launch. As I was pretty small I only really remember how loud it was. So I'm sure the shuttles were loud too.

Thanx Moonsie

That is pretty cool. Talk about some good timing to be flying and catch it at the right time. Neato!
