Well, sure. I'm just wondering about the ones that might be developed enough to travel between stars; what method of travel would they use?

I already took that as a given. I would think there would be life from its earliest forms to well beyond our own. I would think that such life might develop similarly, just because of the way the elementary building blocks work, but in no way the same.
But the question is still out there, if there are intelligent life forms capable of interstellar travel, how would they achieve said travel?

If it is possible it is beyond our scope of recognition.
So no idea what is possible.
Look at how old the earth is and compare it to our evolution.
Just in the last 150 years we made more advancements that in all the years before 1000 fold
Gotcha to my Lilypad

Yeah, and a lot of what was science fiction is now science. No speculation, given that's all anyone at present could do?

I just wonder how many planets there are we haven't found yet.
If by chance there were alien life out there, and by slim chance those aliens would be able to view the TV shows we watch, do you think they would consider us "intelligent life"?
I read a recent report somewhere that there are many more planets ever thought possible that are capable of sustaining life. Considering how large the universe is, I don't see how we can be the only "life" in the universe. I only pray that any other intelligent life out there has a better political system than we do.

Other question: Do you think, there is intelligent live on the earth?
To topic:
A few days ago, I read an article about a black hole in a distance of about 350 million lightyears. I think, it's nearly impossible, that we are alone in the whole universe, but I also think, we'll never hear something from other species. As far as we know, the elementary rules of physic are constant in the whole universe. This is a fact, which makes interstellar travelling.
I don't want to meet aliens if they're much more technologically advanced than us because I don't want them taking control of us humans.
