    Default 30 and 60 second rules

    I'm sure it's ben discussed before, but I'll resurrect the subject.

    What's the purpose of the 60-second rule between PMs and the 30 second rule between posts?

    Is it a bandwidth thing? Is there some little OTz fairy working its little fairy ass off trying to keep the board running (think of the old tyme switchboard operators plugging and unplugging connections into different holes in the board).

    What gives? My post whoring ways demands an answer!

    hehe Im proud to say I knew about the pm rule. I believe it's got something to do with people getting on here and spamming. filters out automated spammers.
