i know that reputation is not a easy thing that let every people respect to you.

but i think we still need to seek it, for if you give up, you will let it far away from you again,

I take it that a persons rep power increases as they get more reps? By that I mean the more rep points one person has, the more points they can give others. If so, the rep system will get out of hand.

Yup, thats the way, it also involved how long you've been here and the amount of posts you have. Which means if you get repped by someone like me you'll know instantly about it!

I see. Well, so far it's working well here. I know from another forum I use, I've got over 7 million in rep points, and that's low compared to a lot of others there. Repping someone new gives around 3 million points, which does make their rep system pointless.

Damn! Wish I had over 7m rep points! Seriously, you get to a certain amount and its a bugger to know what to do with them other than buying people silly personalised titles!

lol Nice. There isn't any features on this other forum. You just rep, and get reps. I had brought up the idea of trading reps for privileges but heard nothing more about it.

You can buy a customised title for yourself or others by PMing Tim or Veronica for 100 (I think) rep points. Thats about it at the moment.
