But I like it. 45 hours ago I was dropped off at my apartment. 40 hours ago I was drunk in a city i have never been to before. 35 hours ago I saw her again and she is more beautiful than I remember. 26 hours ago I smiled at her and swallowed another shot. 24 hours ago I made a confession i probably shouldn’t have. 18 hours ago I was sobbing with my face in her shirt. 16 hours ago I finally stopped and she wiped my face. 11 hours ago I was vomiting up forty-dollar wine in the bathroom of someone i have never met. 8 hours ago I slept. 2 hours ago I woke up on a bus. 1 hour ago I got home. 1 hour from now I will be standing in the kitchen of a man whom I will love until i die, and I will tell him without any shred of honesty: “I just went home and slept after you dropped me off.”
