Backus officials said the newborn — Stephon Hendrix Louis-Jean — broke the 18-year record for the biggest baby ever born at the hospital by 1 pound, 13 ounces. He was nearly 23 inches long.
"He's built like a linebacker," said Dr. David Kalla, who delivered the baby by Caesarean section.
After nine months of carrying Stephon, 36-year-old Michel said she was more tired and happy to have given birth than all the attention her baby was receiving.
"I was miserable," Michel said. "I couldn't sleep at night. My 13-year-old son had to help me get in and out bed."
The baby's size came as no surprise to his mom. Michel's oldest son weighed 9 pounds at birth, her 8-year-old twin sons each weighed 8 1/2 pounds and her youngest son, age 3, was nearly 12 pounds.

when chris was born their was a baby girl that was over 12lbs her eye were wide open and it really seemed like she knew what was going on around her what with the way she was looking around.

A girl I work with had her baby and he weighed 12 lbs. She had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant and the docs said thats why the baby was so big. He had blood sugar problems when he was born as well.
She had people that she didnt even know coming up to her room just so they could see the 12 lb baby!

I remember when my daughter was born, and she weighed 5lb's So I4lb's.. All I can say is

I was somewhere over 9 pounds when I was born. You wouldn't think of it to look at me now though.

Thats like my son. He weighed 6lbs 3 ounces when he was born. He was a tiny little thing that there were no shoes small enough to fit on his little feet.
But now, 3 yrs later...he is a monster! He is a chunk!

i was 2 weeks late...and weighed just under 5lbs. lol. i always thought that was weird..then again my mom weighed about 95lbs before she got pregnant with me, so i guess i didnt have a very big stomach to grow in lol.

i think i was like at almost 8 lbs. something like 7lbs 15 oz and i was a week late and i had medical problemos when i was born
