i told my cousin that today that i like her boyfriend is take her for granted all the time. she pretty much buys him shit all the time and just expects her to do stuff for him all the time.

One of the most painful lessons in life is to realize that you have taken something for granted. We often take things, and people, for granted, when we assume that everything will always stay the same or that everyone has what we have. We need to understand that nothing or no one is a permanent fixture in this world. We also need to appreciate everything and notice that somethings we have others may not. If you find someone to love you should hold onto that and never take that person for granted, because you never know what will happen tomorrow that could change everything.
