I have not used this laptop in forever!


Seriously, I am transferring files from Ubuntu to Vista through Samba (which I had to setup)...

and holy crap... i cannot wait to sell the laptop (i do not use it anymore).

Now...

to decide where to sell it: CL or eBay?

They range from about $5 to about 32 and change, depending on materials, location of distributor and shipping charges.

Well, when I finish removing this one little 881MB file from the Ubuntu partition...

Compaq Evo n610c

14.1" XGA (1024x768 pixels)
P4-M (yes, Pentium 4 - Mobile, not the Pentium M) @ 1.8GHz
1GB DDR400 (Kingston, of course)
20GB (currently installed, 80GB available)
32 MB ATi 7500 Mobility
Intel 2200BG WiFi card + routed antenna (installed by me, majority of antenna wires are behind the display unit)

Not sure on a price, though.

This is a single-core laptop, with memory-restricting limitations... which is not good for my work (programmer, working with large data sets).

So, when I got my desktop set up, with files from the laptop, I pretty much stopped using the laptop, as I never go anywhere with it (no reason to).

So, I am planning on selling it.

I just shipped the regular battery replacement, sold it on eBay, but did not get much.

I am looking to sell the other spare parts, after making sure the laptop is fully assembled.

I will probably install some flavor of Linux on it, before selling (it does have a valid XP Pro COA sticker)... I just don't have XP Pro..

So, not sure what's gonna happen, besides cleaning the room up.
