I want a free full scan, full service anti-spyware anti-virus program that won't tell me I need to register and purchase the full version every fucking day.

My desktop got infected last night and this goddamn balloon keeps popping up at me and I can't get it to turn off long enough for me to put any real anti virus software on it.

If you want a anti-spyware, windows anti-spyware is pretty decent, since they repair all their boo boo's ( You wouldn't have spyware if it weren't for IE) AVG is pretty spiffy too, just it's auto update is annoyingly frequent, but all that is customizable. If you know the EXACT, spyware/worm/trojan/RAT, that would help too if you need more help.

i really like spybot search and destroy and adaware works pretty good too. both have free versions and dont bug you to buy it.

but i have adaware 1.06 pro. worki damn good.
also try microsoft anti spyware. you can get it from www.microsoft.com

I personally hate Spybot search and destroy and adaware. I've had both, both are annoying, and I've been infected with both of those running. You have to update manually every day I've found. I'm going to do a system restore to a point from last month.

I'm looking for a FULL FREE kit. Most places allow you to download the "sweeping" part, but then you have to buy it for them to quarantine or fix the problems. It's bullshit.

But anyway, I'm flat out exhaust right now, tomorrow i'll check these things out.

I guess ad-aware SE is the only free service I can get. So I downloaded it both for my laptop and desktop. I had 50 critical objects on the laptop even.

People who write spyware/virus shit should be shot.
