I spent 55 dollars on Call of Duty 4, 120 on rockband (You buy the drums, guitar, mic, game, etc), 55 dollars on Madden 09 and 55 on Army of Two. COD4, I've logged over 33 DAYS worth of playing the game online, not to mention all the hours I played the single player missions. Do the math on that one. Rockband, I've played a lot, Madden 09 I need to get back to playing and Army of Two I haven't really even begun to play it. Now if I were to turn in Army of Two, they'd probably give me 10 bucks for it, so I'd like to at least play it long enough to beat it and get my achievements for it, then it'd be worth it to me because I got the enjoyment out of it. | |

![]() | You know what else is sad? Nobody really gives a fuck about your opinion! hahaha Not even talking about the game play with my response; apparently you need to dump that 20" TV you bought in 1999 and get a LCD or Plasma HDTV and actually try the game in HD before saying it sucks. Oh, and btw I'm not taking your nonsense on any game, because well, so far you've thought two of the better games for Xbox have sucked. Last edited by TheOriginalJames; 09-10-2008 at 06:23 PM. |

And they've stripped the game of a load of customisation features. And i didn't think GTA sucked, i had one or five issues with it. |

![]() | You're talking about Madden, right? Did you play it yet? It's the first Madden in years that will learn your style, your abilities, and help you build up your weaknesses during the game. To me thats one hell of a game to just be able to do that. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well my gamertag is right under my post... and it clearly shows that the last game i played was Madden 09. I don't think the iq thing is very good. I can see how hardend fans would love it, but i liked being able to create my own team, that ruined franchise mode for me. |

Most of the time, the games are too repetitive, or don't even last long, and dont' have any real replay value to them. Me, I love the old classic games, more like NES-N64 era, but there are some games out now that do appeal to me. Right now, I'm waiting to by Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Playstation 3 especially is notoriously expensive for games designers (I guess thats why most of the games on it are the 4th in a series and have the money to burn.. GTA 4, MGS 4, DMC 4, R.E 4... list goes on) Which presents 2 problems : 1.) Games have to be shorter to cut those costs 2.) New developers can't get a foot on to the ladder: And without new developers the market quickly becomes saturated with the same old stuff.

Tokenz: 532 ![]() | There are very select companies I am willing to give my money to. The last game I bought was Command and Conquer: The First Decade because its one of the only franchises worth its weight. After that It would be the valve games. I'm actually buying TF2 tonight. That or the games have to be cheep. Like today I bought 2 copies of City of Villains for $4 each. Couldn't pass that up. |
