I'm due for an oil change, could that be it???? |

![]() | Is it a rattling or a ticking? Your car will tick until the oil starts to get fully pumped up and coat the camshafts and other moving parts. Until that happens your cams and rockers are hitting metal on metal. If it continually persists, then you need to check your oil, but since it goes away I wouldn't worry about it too much. But yes, if your car is due for an oil change, then get it changed or learn how to do it yourself.
