Hear the words
Of broken heart
Long lost tears
Bound to start
Falling like
The desert rain
On the parched
The sunburnt plain

Catch the visions
Drink them well
Rivers aching
Memories tell
Let them water
All my seeds
Planted poisons
And misdeeds

Nurture gardens
Let them grow
Sun them in
The burning glow
Of the anger
And the pride
Of indignant
Wounds inside

And let me tend
My Eden lost
Grow it green
Beneath the frost
Grow the apple,
Poisoned sin
Grow it tempting,
Just for him

Vengeful fruit in
Subtle shade
In its shine his
Sealed fate made
