yeah, i have wondered about this a few times..I also had a good comparison between Lifelock and a few competitors which i will try and dig up again.

yes it will.. i fell victim to that once.. taught me to read the fine print..!

All you have to do is write to the major credit reporting agencies to get your report. They have to give you one, by law, free of charge once a year. So what I do is request one from a different agency every six months.

That site really is free. The only time you'd have to give a cc is if you want to see the actual credit score number.
You can get one report from each agency each year.
