I got the the Bring Down the Sky expansion mission from Xbox live today. I havn't played it all the way through yet, but you start out in the Mako, and the map is like every other uncharted world.

I finished Bring Down the Sky, and it's actually pretty enjoyable. The combat is a lot more difficult than other situations... the Batarians make a formidable enemy. And at the end it gives you one of those wonderful moral dilemmas. It's well worth the MS points, and i hope Bioware release some more add ons soon.

I'm currently playing through this for the second time. I just finished Noveria, and decided to Genocide the Rachni. The cut scene where the queen controls the Asari commando is really well done. The close up of her right foot dragging is a nice touch, and i also enjoyed her futile attempt to release herself when i told her i was going to kill her and her people.

For those that havn't played Mass Effect, the Rachni are a bug race who in game history invaded a bunch of worlds and killed a load of people, so my genociding them isn't really the same as Hitler genociding the Jews. I thought i'd throw that in before the nazi comments start up again.

For my second play through i decided to be a soldier. I don't think it's boring at all, being able to use sniper rifles and assualt rifles makes combat more interesting, since you don't need to get in close. I don't think i'd be able to do certain parts on the insanity difficulty level without my sniper rifle.
However, i have amassed 150 assault rifle kills, when i play it again in the lead up to Mass Effect twos release, i may be a vanguard with the assault rifle special ability.
