Its not the game that I am trippin about. Its the way I was being spoken to. I was having a pretty civil conversation before Zorak jumped in. I dont mind being wrong, but when someone talks down at me, it tends to tick me off. I did nothing to warrant disrespect.

Sooooooooo, I wanted to try the rogue class cause of the info I was gettin a while back from this thread. I should have rolled one a looooong time ago! Talk about fun! I fucking pwn as a rogue. I speced sub because I only play him when my uncle is online. So I always have a quest partner that can make up for the dps I'm lacking for the quests and whatnot. When I hit bgs its fucking on. Last night my 41 rogue took down a 48 rogue that had the drop on me. I was really proud. I stand corrected!

Out of interest have you, or anyone, checked out the new wrath of the lich king talents? Subtelty rogues are getting one fucking amazing finishing talent! I'm going to be even more scared of them now.

Although most classes have been given lots of little tweaks to, as a warlock are finishing talents are talked of quite a lot, especially the demonology "Metamorphisis" where you can turn into a demon. Apparantly it's very op - but it doesn't matter to me, I am affliction or destruction for life. Always will be.
But I am more happy about the little changes, like making Curse of exhaustion more effective, or decreasing the talent point requirements of soul link so any specced class can get it now, not just demonology. And Voidwalker is now a great PVP pet - lots of little things.

I havent really scoped out the new talents. I looked at the dk talent tree. That class is gonna need some major nerfing.

eek...this is the crack I just couldnt get myself into.


I have an undead Mage and undead rogue in emerald dream or emerald green i think and a paladin on another server.
While i liked the complexity fo the game the grind was reeeeeally boring to me, I'd rather level another character on another game for the sake of just leveling lol

I have several level 70 friends that came from another game I still play and they have asked me to come back to power level me in some instances... is it really worth the money? I mean i know the game is popular and all... but i just dont know if i can get into it.

I just ran out of pre-paid time myself, and I will re subscribe, but not until I have the money to spare.

Personally I have to stop playing WoW for about 6 months every so often - as you say, the constant grind is fucking tedious.
And I can't play on my own, I need a few mates online, a lot of beer and some world-pvp to make it interesting.

I've played other MMO's, and all of them do one or two parts brilliantly - but none seem to do all things well like WoW.

i do agree the way the game is set up is possibly the best around, I just can't really get into it.

I have a lvl 70 Pally Holy Spec.......and a 70 Warlock, right now is spec Affliction. I started out on the Thrall server and actually still have a hunter there.... now i have my toons on Eonar....... yeah yeah, im a WoW chick LOL
