Can a staff member please post and sticky the guidelines on how to become a VIP member and what the benefits are?

Same with this 'secret section.' What's in there that I can't get here in the main forum?

the rules on getting into VIP arent formally posted anywhere, its a combination of things based on rep, posts ,and time. Tim and V are the only ones that know for sure, and we cant pry it out of them with a pitchfork. Youll just have to put in your time like everyone else had too

I think they must have toughened up the rules for getting in there now, haven't seen a new VIP for a while. I remember at one point there were people who had only been here a couple of days with only about 100 posts who were getting in there which was rediculous. It seems now like you are looking at at least 1000 odd posts these days.

becoming a VIP gives you the option to be in the VIP lounge, it also gives you access to the underground section. Both sections are places that people post things not seen by just regular members on the site

So there are 2 sections. But there aren't any real differences other than guests and regular members not being able to view?

underground is different than the VIP section but you have access there when you become VIP lets just say its not PG-13 like the rest of the forum

In all honesty, I do find myself biting my tongue and having to watch the content that I post because the forum just seems too 'nice.' It's good to know there's another side to it.

You might attract more members if that section's public. Iono, just a thought.

To put it into perspective, the member on here with the most posts without making VIP status, excluding minors and banned people is currently on 2185 posts and thats probably because she hasn't been here for about a year at least which was before we all started repping more which boosts you into the VIP area quicker.

because of the increase of minors and certian content in there we decided to move the underground to VIP, its in the better interest of all involved (it was in the regular section for quite awhile)

I wanna be a VIP. What about if you make a mod laugh with a post and you are not a minor, you get to be a VIP. I can only go so long before I say or post something that will cross the boundaries. Not intentionally, it just happens.

I wouldn't worry about it, by the look of it you're on the verge of becoming a VIP any day now.
