....how do I go about placing some pics from my comp into the reply box to do a post I want to do?

Ria, you'll have to "go advanced" on your post and use the attachment. Or, you could upload them to photobucket and then just use the URL.

There is a section yes, but it doesn't matter either, what I put in this general board, as long as it's all good.

Aha, thanks Natasha - I had put them in photobucket - forgot about the code thingy.

Which code is it for posts, to copy and paste in reply box again?

it came to me after all.

Thanks to whoever for putting this here - at the time, having had things on my mind due to how bad things are for my closest friends, I hadn't noticed I put it there til the^^^^ by which time was too late and knew it'd get put in right bit in the end - as it happens, I sorted this out so don't need this thread anyway - it's only taking up unecessary space now and is fine to delete it.
