Whats the situation with this, how do I know what I am allowed to put in my sig? Just out of curiosity.

Use common sense to guide you. If you feel it may be wrong, most likely it is.

Your sig may include text and or picture.
Avoid large pics in sig (esp height. Takes up too much space).
Avoid sexually explicit pics, pics with racial connotations or otherwise distasteful.

yeah i read those, I too run an off topic forum, could i put my banner in my sig is the true quesiton I suppose

We did use to say one sig or one post in one thread only would be ok, but it will depend on what you plan.

Please pm our Boss, Vshayes (that's her username). She will let you know for definate then, as it all depends.

So you are familiar with do's and don'ts I would imagine.

Bear in mind, "competitive forum" advertising on a forum which you are a member of is not good form, especially if you have just joined the forum, and is not encouraged.

yeah i know, believe me I know, I am not trying to compete though, thats the thing, im on offtopic.com and dont have a sig, I was just wondering, I dont want to break the rules, be banned for it, and then be like hmmpg oh well, at least I am asking before doing,
