Temperamental

Lucid Dream is is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. During lucid dreams, it is possible to exert concious control over the dream characters and environment and have them perform feats which would be physically impossible in the waking world. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream.

How many of you can lucid dream? I've tried it so much...but I just can't concentrate... :-/

I think I had one once, I in bed and there was a women standing over me and she put a valium pill in my ear, and it fell down my ear canal. I don't know how I know it was a valium, I just did.

Then I "woke up", it was just me and there was nothing in my ear, and my heart felt like it was about to burst out of my chest.

I did a lot of reading about this a year ago. Basically it takes a lot of practice. Some are really good at it.

I know when you first start you have to write down what you dream right when you wake up like keeping a journal of your dreams. Somehow this will trigger yourself to know when you're dreaming.

But it is interesting stuff. I mean if you can dream of whatever you want or control whatever happens in your dreams, it's a lot of fun.

Yeah, I can do that. Well, in the beginning, I can. Usually, it goes into some really random crap. Like from being a part of some pron scene to running from a tornado underwater, because the sun is green.

ive NEVER had one!!!!!!!! but fuck man i wish i could. sometimes when i wake up from a dream, i lay there and wish that i could have controlled the situation by knowing that i was actually dreaming. god that would make dreaming so much fucking better.

I have them ever now and then. More so when i was at college, i believe it had something to do with the way the lights came into my windows at a certain part of the night/morning.

Lucid dreams...horrible experience. Can't remember though.

Mine are usually nightmares.

I had one where I was being sexually assaulted and I could feel the guys hands around my neck...and as I was fighting him off in the dream I *knew* that I was dreaming but then I got to a point where I was like "oh my God...I thought I was dreaming, but is this REALLY happening to me???" It freaked me out...bad.
