I disagree.

The Police don't really look into civil matters. Just an example here - what would you do if you agree to a contract for a someone to build you a pool (giving them a large amount of money) and they don't end up doing it?. You'd go to a solicitor and take legal action (ie. suing), if you couldn't do that.. what other options so you have?

Some sue for the most trival things, a shining example would be this article. But most people won't go though with the lawsuit due to costs invovled, and yes, in regards to the article she is a slut who just wants some extra cash.

I worded my post wrong. What I meant was, the ability to sue, even for the stupidest of reasons, is what has made adults less mature. Because of such ability, and the likelihood of greed amongst people, causes them to resort to suing, regardless of the severity of the matter.

Fair enough, suing has become so easy these days. Legal costs for the parties invovled discourage alot of the more stupider cases to actually go to court. Then the case can be thrown out all together.

I like the fact that anyone is able to sue, gives the impression that you don't need to be rich or powerful in order to seek justice, however trival the reason

But still, alot of these types of cases provide entertaining reading . The Fox vs. Franken case in 2003 is a good example.

To be realistic tho, most 16-17 yrs + do inbibe in drinking and such.
Reflect back a bit to when you (general) were around that age and what you used to indulge in. I'd be willing to bet that most did partake esp with partying and such. Fast forward now to recent times when it seems teens are maturing much faster and having more influences, freedom etc and you'll see it's not unusual.

Still doesn't excuse her for illegally drinking. And I believe a big part of the reason that law was passed is to stop kids getting drunk and doing stupid things..

But aside form that. Doesn't GGW ID girls before they film them? If not, they're just asking for this kind of trouble!

GGW checking girls ID? They're supposed to (and they would say that they do but I don't really think they make much fuss about that and then maybe too some of the girls might even have fake age IDs (you know how they could be sneaky like that. ) so pretty much all they interested in is getting the girls gone wild on video...more money, more money, more money.
