I HATE dealing with insurance companies!

My husband has 2 health insurances. He has United Healthcare thru his job (which is his primary) and then he has Mercy Health Plans (which is his seondary one that is thru my job). It has been since March 1st since he had his accident and I have gotten a letter from the ambulance service and from 1 of the 3 drs he seen, saying that they havent heard not a single thing from either of the insurance companies, they havent paid for anything so far. It just burns me up!! So now on my next day off, I get to call the insurance companies and find out what the hold up is.
United Healthcare even denied the claim on one of his bills and Mercy Health Plans "isnt in their contract" so "the full amount is due from you" (is what the bill said).
I could scream!!!!!!!!

That's tough Amy. That's the thing with insurance companies. They like to receive but they don't like to give.

That sucks. I've never had a problem w/ my insurance company (*knock on wood*) but my bestfriend (I have 3...this is a different one than the one I usually mention) and her husband have had nothing but problems.
