I helped a buddy install it in his house last night and I thought it looked so good I'm considering tearing the carpet out of my living room and going with laminate. Any advice? Anyone have it and wanna say yeah its great or God it sucks dont do it?

Basically, it is afixed to the foundation, it has a much more resistance to pressure than a pergo or something similar, and it is not loud like a pergo. You don't have to go with Capella albeit, it was about 9-10 dollars per sq/ft but I would definitely recommend an engineered hardwood over a laminate. Oh and the surface is aluminum oxide coated for scratch resistance, and minor scratches can be fixed in minutes by the right person. |

Yes, it is worth it but your house will get louder lol, we have a big open living room and going from carpet to flooring the house is much much louder. |

she is right. just go to lowes or homeboy depot if you don't have a cheap flooring supply center near you. you can get flooring way cheaper than $8-9 a foot.at least i did. my whole house is wood except for my bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room and i'm extremely happy with the look. btw elle, i totally right click saved your sig ![]() | |
