You're going to have to show those proofs.

Surely this reply has a number of different levels to it.

1. It is in the wrong section & should be moved over to the 'humour' section.

2. It is an attempt at getting a response out of someone that is over the top.

3. It is a post by a person who genuinely believes all that was written & is perhaps the most scary of the three because it shows a distinct lack of education or knowledge on any of the points that it tries to pass off as truth.

I suspect that it is a level 2 attack & only ask that if not a level 2 attack, then show some (read 'any') evidence to back up any of your 'facts'.

I believe in God because of the difference He has made in my life. My own life is proof enough for me. It is nothing short of miraculous. I've seen Him totally change and save others as well.

I feel His spirit within me and it forces me to move and do things that I never would have done before I accepted Him into my life. Through Him all things are possible. He has worked through me in ways that I know that I could not or would not have even desired to do on my own.

Every Word of His that I follow blesses me in exactly the way He said He would bless me if I accepted Him and chose to be obedient. His guidelines set me free to live life more fully. It is in Him that I am free. I no longer believe and live my life according to the lies of this world that once use to bind me. And I am ever so grateful to Christ for that.

*Ahem* Your imagination does not make these statements "proven" or factual.

I'm sorry, I didn't intend to offend anyone in any kind of way. I was just answering the question. I don't believe all that was written, I only believe in facts, which are in the Holy Quran...I do not think that you can prove anything in the Quran to be false. Here are the evidence you requested:

1. God's existance has been proven and backed up by science:
  • The attributes of the universe discovered by science point to the existence of God. Science leads us to the conclusion that the universe has a Creator and this Creator is perfect in might, wisdom and knowledge. It is religion that shows us the way in knowing God. It is therefore possible to say that science is a method we use to better see and investigate the realities addressed by religion. Nevertheless, today, some of the scientists who step forth in the name of science take an entirely different stand. In their view, scientific discoveries do not imply the creation of God. They have, on the contrary, projected an atheistic understanding of science by saying that it is not possible to reach God through scientific data: they claim that science and religion are two clashing notions....For more, please visit: Harun Yahya - SCIENTISTS CONFIRM THE SIGN OF GOD - Download Page
2. In some religious books, there are evidence that can prove the existance of God.3. Darwin's theory of Evolution has been proven wrong by science. 4. Dr. Albert Einstein proved that the Big Bang and Redshift Theories are false.
  • The Big Bang Theory states that the universe was once a dense, hot body of matter that exploded and has been expanding since the beginning, some 10 to 20 billion years ago. Dr. Einstein's formula shows that the material could not exceed the speed of light as it expanded. Mass becomes infinite as its speed approaches the speed of light. Increasing the energy in the initial "bang" cannot increase the speed beyond the speed of light. The mass will increase proportionately as the initial energy is increased. The mass increases to approach infinity as the energy level approaches infinity. The big bang theory violates this scientifically proven law that was discovered by Dr. Einstein...For more, please visit: The Big Bang and Redshift Theories Have Many Big Flaws, Errors and Problems.

You can't prove that the Quran is true though, can you? Even if we start at the basics, there is no proof that the Quran was revealed to Muhammed by the angel Gabriel.

The Bible is not a science book. Nor is a science book a spiritual book.

The Bible is a roadmap that leads one to a love relationship with God, their creator.

A science book is the study of God's creation.

I would no more open a science book to meditate on a life lesson my Lord has for me, than I would open up the Bible to figure out how to do brain surgery.

I believe in God because I was raised Baptist, I believe what I have read in the Bible and have been taught. I have no reason to believe otherwise .. if God isn't real .. then so be it .. it hasn't and won't hurt anything for me to believe in God. Nor will it hurt anyone else for me to do so either.

Why would it not be .. I went to "bible" school all my life .. and I have plenty of friends who weren't raised to be .. we are both the same in most aspects excpet for some sex and drinking issues.

I don't have to believe, heck I don't even go to church anymore (haven't since I was 14) .. but I still believe in God, to me .. it just makes some things that otherwise wouldn't .. make more sense.

I can't explain it to you, since you obviously don't believe in God .. it's just something you either do or don't believe in .. and no amount on convincing is going to convince the other otherwise.

Because thats not a real reason to believe. Thats jsut believing because someone told you to.

Nah I understand why people believe, I was a roman catholic for most of my life, so been there, done that and got the T-shirt at the gift shop.

Why do I believe in God? Because I can't disprove him.... Why do children believe in Santa Claus? He brings them hope!

That is a reasn to believe .. I was told about it and "I" made the decision to believe it or not .. no one made me believe it.

You obviously never truly believed .. or you still would.

But catholosism doesn't make sense to me .. with all that inbetween heaven stuff, and confession to a priest, no sex for monks and priests and nuns, and saying chants and stuff .. that just seems to me like something to control people. I've never been "controlled" by religion .. although, my mom is a different story LMAO .. she tries constantly, hasn't worked for her either.
