Last I heard there was only one guy in the US, based in California who could pull strings to register Skylines. His shop was called Motorex. I believe he was convicted of attempted kidnapping, assault, and a bunch of other serious felonies. I don't know if he's in business anymore.

We've got four Skylines documented in Hawaii. Only two are street legal though. All R-33's. Not sure of the trims, but the ones I've seen here are automatics. Certainly, the one I raced against was. I wasn't impressed, it was really slow.

We have a few here in Houston, Tx.
i know 2 of them are owned by shops so im not sure if they are registered or track-only cars.
the one ive seen on the street had the japanese plates.

MotoRex is out of business because the owner was found guilty of tax evasion, and probably everything you mentioned as well.

But MotoRex was one of about 4-5 companies that would import R32, R33, and R34s and make them street legal by USDOT standards.

MotoRex sucks really, they took orders for customers and didn't deliver the car for months at a time, then they would spend the customers money....
