I think Booms is hitting the nail on the head all over this place. I agree with his idea that the Universe is simply too large to contain life only on one tiny speck. Obviously we don't know for sure, but I imagine there is going to be like and non-like life out there. I'd love to meet a friendly one someday!!

About 40 years ago, a radio astronomer named Drake came up with a nice tool to help us guess at the possibility of advanced life out there. Messing around with it makes it almost impossible to imagine a lifeless universe.

SPACE.com -- The Drake Equation to estimate intelligent extraterrestrial life

LOL I've laid awake at night countless times thinking exactly that. haha I wonder if we'll even be able to identify it when we do finally find it.

Oh sure... ask us the easy ones why don't you...

I think our Universe ends somewhere (some time). LOL Gotta be careful about the word time... it can get hairy quick.

Yes I believe there is other life out there... It's pure ignorance to think otherwise.

I am going to have to answer, I don't know, but I am sure that there could be something out there even if it is a micro organism.

I don't see any reason to assume the rest of the universe is empty of life.

There is obviously life somewhere else in the vast expanse we call space. But that doesn't mean we'll ever find them, or that they'll find us. as big as the Universe is, and as small as our planet is, the odds of them finding us, or us finding them, is probably about a kajillion to one.
