Converting waste heat into sound, then electricity. researchers may well have another way to convert waste into energy.

thats amazing ,do you think that it could become non industrial and available in homes?

i saw an article on bbc news yesterday which showed apowerplant near to huge green houses and they were using the waste from the power plant to heat the green houses..they had the first tomatoes grown in th UK in winter

I have no idea about domestic applications Deb, it is still really new, do I think it's possible, yes, but then I feel we should be almost totally solar by now too, so...

i live on the welsh border so about 40 miles from the alternative technology centre,its an amazing place you would love it.the people who work and live there have solar,eco friendly,and even straw ovens..they live it.
google alternative technology centre...be sure to spell centre like we do in blighty

That is cool Deb, the US will get there eventually, I think people are slowly catching on, not to mention that some have to get okay with doing without some creature comforts to help humanity, that is a slow process here

if you ever come here .i will happily take you to the centRE for alternative technology.
its on the top of a welsh mountain and to get up there you have to travel in a glass lift(elevator) which is motored by water,you actually watch the water pouring out as you travel upward,and the views are fantastic

1) heat is an energy transfer mechanism.
1a) heat always moves from more heat to less heat.
2) heat is an implementation of friction. static electricity is another.
2a) friction only happens between two surfaces.
2b) friction always produces heat.
3) heat is the measure of energy due to friction.
3a) energy due to friction is a calculable quantity.
3ai) calculable quantities can never be chaotic.
