i have really bad allergies, and i have carpeting in my house... i can change the flooring to whatever i want basically... so ummm im looking at lowes online.. and i dont know the difference between them... i want wood (or wood looking?) floors.... but ummmm thats about all i know...

so i see the color i like.. and i dunno what the description means??

clearly the whole floor is not $36.. but ummm how do i figure out how much it'll cost? what does the whole 24.12sq ft mean?? and umm.. is laminate that cheap stuff that peels off??

it means you get 26.12 square feet (a little over 5' wide by 5' long) for 36 bucks. You have to figure out what the squarefootage of your room is.

Laminate "wood" flooring is basically just 'wood' that you lay down and hammer in (its fairly easy). I helped put it in at my brothers, sisters and friend Gregs house.

Laminate doesn't peel off, you're thinking of linoleum if not glued properly.

im redoing my kitchen floor first, cuz theres CARPET in there... stupidest idea EVER!!!!!

Interlocking is the kind you want. Shims, a hammer and time will be all you need.

Get a measuring tape and measure your rooms' width and length, then overshoot it by a foot or two. That'll give you plenty to work with.

SOME cutting may be needed.
