Britney Spears Goes Topless

NEW YORK (AP) -- Britney Spears seems to enjoy being topless but she doesn't like showing up for interviews, according to Allure magazine. The cover of the September issue of Allure shows Spears posing in jeans and no top, covering her breasts.

Allure editor-in-chief Linda Wells says Spears showed up on time for the photo shoot and she was prepared to work. Wells says Spears "took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup."

She says Spears was agreeable for the shoot, but she missed four appointments with interviewer Judith Newman. Newman writes Spears put off one appointment because she was "delayed by important work in the recording studio." Newman says the paparazzi found Spears a few hours later at a salon getting her nails done.

OK! magazine recently published an account of Spears acting weird at one of its photo shoots. It says Spears wiped her greasy hands on a designer dress, let her dog poop on another designer dress and went to the bathroom with the door open.
