But really, I think they send a bad message in that vid. "I am the source of all evil, I make you do bad things, I am the reason for the evils you do..." Um, doesn't that just take the blame off the person who actually committed the act, and make it easier for them to say "It wasn't my fault I shot those people, its Satan!" ?
I had that same thought halfway through the video, then I forgot to post it... But seriously. Why can't religious people take responsibility for what they do.

That's what religion seems like to me. A giant crutch for avoiding responsibility. Sorry if that offends any of you, but it's how I feel.

I mean, let's say Mother Teresa or someone like her never prayed. Everything else she did was the same. But she didn't do it for god, she did it to be a good person. That would send her to hell for eternity??? I don't want a god that'll do that.

If that is the point you got from that video, then I must apologize for posting something that you don't understand. That is not the point at all and it not what it is meant to imply. Just like the video says, you are giving Satan way too much credit.

Wow, and you called my first post to you rude. Indirectly insulting Donnie seems fairly rude to me.

But hey, I don't even believe in satan, however you cannot simply answer my question.

God punishes you by sending you somewhere so you can continue doing evil deeds that the Devil enjoys.

The devil is the reason why we know we're naked without clothing. The devil gives us the temptations we partake in.

Right? I mean that's a Christian point of view. But hey God loves us, except when we use the freewill he apparently gave us.

You know, if god and Satan are real, who says that Satan is really who the bible or god says he is? Perhaps he is just a deity that just takes the humans side instead of bowing to god?

Then we must be watching a different video. The one I saw had Satan taking credit for people who smoke, drink, have sex, get in arguments, fight with their "neighbor" and start wars. I must've missed something.

And, it's not like they actually interviewed Satan. The whole conversation was one person's view of Satan, who's to say it's right? Man is fallible, right? So who's to say the maker of this extremely boring video isn't wrong? That's another problem with religion, agreeing with whatever you believe without question.

Believe it or not, I can recall on at least 3 occasions in Iraq when I KNEW there must be a god watching over my sorry ass. When I found out Amber was pregnant, I thought seriously about going to church again, and maybe raising our kid to be religious.

But then it's people like you that make me sick when it comes to religion. Religious people are so damn judgmental, stuck-up and blinded to reality that I have no desire for my kid to be like that.

I'm sure god loves you for driving a person further away from religion.

again, i cant find this quote to be anything but the truth, which makes frederick and yourself, in a sense, a believer. its first saying that christ was who he was because he saw what no one else was doing as a follower. its like he said "that guy existed to the highest christ ideal, and no one else". to even say jesus was anything, esspecially christ, then you are giving credence. he may have hated christianity, but he seemed to know who christ was....strange to me

i must not be human, cause if there was a satan, he would not like me or my extended hand, i doubt he would want to bow, and if he did, if he did want to return my offering with the same love, then he would cease to be who he was. all this talk about bowing and hatred of bowing, is kind of a waste of time, no one should ask another to bow to god, i think if god wants someone to bow, they will know, not because some guy in front of a pulpit says so, but because the person might have the feeling of saying, thanks for being so crazy, more crazy then me!
sometimes i think people are so full of pride, that to hear they have to bow, they spit, not because of the idea of a humbling gesture (which isnt a bad thing sometimes), but because some hypocrate is making the demand to bow, giving a feeling as if we are bowing to this guy and not god. (i dont think that is any of your feelings, but i know there are plenty of people out there who feel that way)
