insta-James-rep right there. Finally someone else who see's hell in the same light as I do.

I don't recall my pastors ever directly talking about Hell. They were to preach the bible and the word of God. If it came up with scripture they'd mention it.

Anyway, I'm just not seeing the correlation of burning in hell for eternity. If it's eternity, you're immortal in the afterlife (if there is one) so I don't see how you could really be bothered by it?

Why won't god just let us rest in peace if we don't believe in him? I mean, he's certainly in a position to make that happen, why does he LET (I'm not saying he sends us there) people go to hell, just because they choose not to believe? I think thats extraordinarily bad of god to let innocent people go to hell for simply living their own life.

Also, if god loves us...and the devil hates us, as you claim...wouldn't someone who loves us try to stop someone who has it out for humanity? It seems awfully irresponsible for him to sit back and watch.

i think, that if he is there, like above posts, he wouldnt send u there, it just doesnt fit in the elegant equation. i think though, that a non-believer, if all of a sudden just happened into heaven (which might happen every "day") id have to say they would be happy to be there, and not be like, aaah, just leave me alone. i bet theyd be like, freakn sweet!, this is a much better idea then nothing

sure, thats a great idea, but what we're saying is that a good number of churches and sects tell you that if you don't believe you'll go to hell or you won't be allowed in to heaven. just a point we're trying to make, since no one actually knows who goes where for what.

I don't see why its such a bad idea to want nothing after we die. Why do so many people WANT stuff? If you ask me, a lot of people are in it for the prize at the end of the race, not the race itself.

All about that payoff, baby! Although, I have met a few people who were in it for the "race".

screw what the church says, they offer a little box to repent to the priest, when all you need is a concious heart and a place to think (which is anywhere, anytime). does that make sense? believe not what u hear, but what u feel. would god really create something to banish it forever, sounds kinda dumb, and not compassionate as they say. i sometimes feel non-believers make better christians because they think before they act. in the bible, Paul, who was a great thinker, was first a lawer who persecuted christians. but he grew to know better, better then any who praised from the womb. i say this, "forget what the church says and listen to us! we are the true believers because our church is where our feet go"

sad but true, they do good for all the bad reasons. but what im saying is, its not a wanting thing, but a gift thing. u didnt ask to live, but it sure is nice. thats how i picture it, i wish it more for those who dont believe in it then those who do, its like i want to give a present to someone when its not their birthday, unexpected and greatly appreciated

Dude, did you not watch? They interviewed him! They can't make that stuff up just to suit their own purposes!

Oh silly me, how moronic to judge too quickly!

But really, I think they send a bad message in that vid. "I am the source of all evil, I make you do bad things, I am the reason for the evils you do..." Um, doesn't that just take the blame off the person who actually committed the act, and make it easier for them to say "It wasn't my fault I shot those people, its Satan!" ?
