Tokenz: 294 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Martin: Paul's 9/11 explanation deserves to be debated - CNN.com It's a really good read and he hits a lot of really good points. The way Ron Paul worded what he said was wrong, but what he was saying was 100% correct. Our foreign policy does effect our lives. Were the 9/11 attackers right to do what they did? No. But we should have seen it coming. We have meddled in the worlds affairs since World War II, tinkering here, overthrowing leaders there. It's no wonder there is so much built up animosity towards us in the world. We have done some great things as a nation, don't get me wrong. We have ended a lot of suffering and helped a lot of people. We have stood up for the oppressed, liberated the enslaved and helped to topple some of the worlds most destructive regimes...but we need to get better at picking our fights. We are reaching a point of critical mass where we are trying to hold on to world power so tightly, that it's slipping through our fingers. If we want to stay a safe, and productive super power, we need to start handling our internal issues first, and only handling foreign issues that are truly dire and require the blunt fist that is the US Military. There is no doubt we are still the primary military power in the world, but that doesn't mean we have to wave it around like our penis every three years. Anyways, there is my soapbox for the day. In either case, it's a really good commentary.

When I saw the debate and how Rotten Rudy replied, I about jumped through the TV to slap the shit out of him. I swear to God that Rudy if a fucking idiot, and America is just stupid enough to Vote this clown to presidency. Don't forget the Prince Sultan air base we had in Saudi Arabia. It was the main reason given by Saudi born Osama Bin Ladin for the attack of 9/11, according to him the US friendly leaders in Saudi Arabia allowed an occupying force on their holy land. It's funny that two years after the attack President Bush gave Bin Laden what he wanted... |

Paul actually wants to carry things out in the way our founding fathers would have wanted, and thats extremely important after this train wreck of a president. | |

Corporate Media Censor Ron Paul's Debate Success Digg - ABC Deletes Posts Criticizing Them For Deleting posts. A friend of mine was telling me that MySpace which is owned by NewsCorp (FOX News) is suspending accounts of members who post support for Ron Paul on their pages. |
