OTz Rulez and Guidelines

Here are the updated rulez for offtopicz. We have had several problems over the years and these are some rulez that we come up with to make it alittle easier and clearer with what is allowed and not allowed. If you have any questions or concerns, please pm or email me at veronica_h_31028@yahoo.com.

*While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts. The Administrators decisions are final in these matters. Or in some cases, a Moderators decision is final in these matters.

*Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed anywhere except the PW thread. We will start deleting posts and warning people that post whore in threads that arent welcome to post whoring.

*Advertising, spamming, and trolling are not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.

* Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is prohibited.

*We reserve the right to remove any and all offensive posts without notice. We will PM you and let you know why. Please do not disrupt the board with threads pertaining to why the action was taken against you.

*We reserve the right, To ban any member that comes here with the sole purpose of causing a disturbance. The ones that just like to push the envelope, will be banned. If all the mods agree that this person is only out to cause a disturbance, then that person will be removed.

*If you have a problem with a member, please be considerate of others and do not make a post directed at them, use the PM system to air out any differences.

*Also, while these rules cover most common situations, they/we cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure that these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

*We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.

*Exercise common sense and be considerate toward your fellow users. Diversity of opinion and intelligent civil discourse are encouraged; by the same token, insults and “flaming” will not be tolerated. Disagreeing with an idea of another community members' opinion is different from attacking that individual member.

*Do not post off-topic. Please keep your comments consistent with the subject & purpose of the conversation thread. Deliberate disruption -- such as consistent off-topic and/or frivolous commentary -- will not be tolerated such posts will be deleted or redirected to our general chat area.

*We do not allow the posting of pictures that have penis's or vagina's in them. First time, you will get a warning, if you keep it up you will get an infraction. Also, NO PORN LINKS

I think they will help out in the event of an arguement or disagreement. Every public forum needs some sort of rulez or guidelines for the members to follow. Even if it is on a site that prides its self on very few rulez and less moderation.

*We do not allow the posting of pictures that have penis's or vagina's in them. First time, you will get a warning, if you keep it up you will get an infraction.

ummmmmmmm, can i ask people to join a website where they can make money by displaying banners on there website, as i have made loads of amazon vouchers from them, it's reached £15 this month so far?

I think after last night (yes I'm a hypocrite and got dragged into it!) there should be a rule about not posting in a foreign language. Besides being annoying as hell, it makes the mods job difficult if they don't know what's going on. Speaking foreign languages isn't a qualification needed for being a mod as far as I'm aware!

I wholly agree with you there Peter. I just pass them by if I see them (not being a foreign language expert) and I think is a waste of space. Leave the foreign languages to the native countries of post.
