And that's why you'd make a bad movie critic. I think she did a very good performance, whether she died or not, overall. Her acting was very believable and she, in my opinion, was the best one for that particular role. I can't see anybody else as her character.

Thats because she wasn't acting, the entire role was scripted for her. from IMDB "Paris Hilton did not have to audition - she was the director's only choice for her role. The rest of the cast was built around her."

The dude wrote in a snooty rich, girl who likes to go down on guys etc. her role took no part to act, the director said "Act like you normally do"

to me acting in a film is to portray one's self as believeable as a character. yes she was believable as the character I will give you that, but thats because that character in the movie was herself not someone else she had to act like aka "the heroine"

Now acting would be like Renée Zellweger in cold mountain as a dirty, tom boy country bumpkin that tore the heads of chickens or Robin Williams playing the Killer in Insomnia or the Creepy Photo Development guy in 1 Hr. Photo

A bad casting call would be like Tara Reid as a "a young genius anthropologist" in Alone in the Dark.

That's one mistake you made. Never trust IMDB. IMDB is not moderated and can be edited by any old fool. You can't trust them. Hell, they said Tobin Bell laid on that bathroom floor in SAW for 16 DAYS STRAIGHT, just to stay in character, which is completely untrue. They had a page for SAW III before it even came out and said the plot was that Amanda had John's baby and it grew up to be the new Jigsaw.

Never trust IMDB. But back to the topic, I still think she did a great job in House Of Wax.
